The Hebrew Orphan Society is the oldest incorporated, continuously operating Jewish charitable organization in the U.S founded on July 15, 1801. It currently consists of 36 members, men and women in each generation who chose to carry the promise forward. The compassionate care and educational opportunities given by The Hebrew Orphan Society has helped create educational opportunities for orphans within the Jewish community, ensuring a brighter future for every child Jewish and non Jewish alike.
